Physical activity refers to all body movements produced by skeletal muscles that lead to energy expenditure in kilocalories. Physical activity in everyday life can be classified as occupational, sports, conditioning, family, or other activities.

Exercise is a part of planned, structured, and repetitive physical activity that improves or maintains physical fitness as a final or intermediate goal. [1]

Physical fitness is a set of attributes related to health or fitness. Physical fitness is “the ability to perform daily tasks with vigor and alertness, to engage in recreational activities without undue fatigue and with sufficient energy, and to cope with unexpected events.” with specific tests. Physical activity measures are closely related to disease prevention and health promotion, so measuring physical activity components for prevention and rehabilitation programs is expected and appropriate. [2] through regular physical activity and exercise. Physical activity components are significantly positively related to physical activity outcomes, including sports participation.
Components of physical activity
Physical activity can be divided into metabolic health, fitness, and skill.
Metabolic fitness
It describes the resting state of physiological systems.
Blood pressure: It includes indirect measurements of heart efficiency, blood volume adequacy, and the presence of arterial flow obstruction. Normal blood pressure is 120/80
Palpitations: A feeling of irritation in the surrounding arteries when the heart beats. The average heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute.
A blood insulin test measures a blood sample for the amount of circulating insulin, which is responsible for blood sugar utilization by surrounding tissues. Typical values for solids are 5 to 20 µm/ml. A lower-than-normal level indicates type 1 diabetes, and a higher-than-average level indicates type 2 diabetes. [4]
Health-related health
Health is closely related to the health-related components of physical health, as it determines an individual’s ability to perform daily activities with vigor and indicates characteristics associated with the risk of the early development of diabetes. [2] It is also known—as physiological health.
The main goals of health-related physical activity are:
Educate clients about their current health-related physical activity status using age- and gender-appropriate standards
Provide helpful information for clinical decision-making during exercise prescription to manage all exercise components
The baseline program allows assessment of participants’ progress in the accumulation and training program.
Motivate participants by setting SMART goals
Cardiovascular risk stratification [2]
Components of health-related physical activity include body composition, muscular endurance, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility.
Body structure
Body composition was expressed as the relative proportion of fat and lean tissue relative to body mass using a two-compartment model. It can be measured by laboratory and field techniques, varying in complexity, cost, and accuracy—anthropometric methods: body mass index, circumference, and skinfold measurements. Hydrodensitometry, gravimetry, and plethysmography are some methods used in the laboratory.
– Skinfold thickness – Measurement involves measuring skin and subcutaneous fat tissue at different anatomical locations around the body and converting these measurements to body fat.
% body fat = (fat weight / total body weight) * 100
-BMI- is a crucial indicator of a person’s body weight about their height.
BMI = M/(H*H), where M = body weight in kilograms and H = height in meters
(Higher BMI scores usually indicate higher body fat.)
-Our hip ratio is measured with the most significant measuring tape around the waist and waist. This proportion is a simple circumference of the waist. [4]
Muscle health
It includes muscular endurance and strength. They determine bone mass, glucose tolerance, muscle tone integrity, and ability to perform ADLs. Muscle function testing is concrete to the muscle group tested, type of contraction, speed of muscle movement, equipment, and joint movement.
Muscular strength: A muscle can produce a high intensity of force quickly.
